At St Luke’s, Personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education is an essential and necessary part of all pupils’ education. PSHE helps pupils to deal with critical issues they face every day such as friendships, emotional wellbeing and change. And giving them a solid foundation for whatever challenging opportunities lie ahead, so they can face a world full of uncertainty with hope. We value the importance of teaching pupils about; mental health and emotional wellbeing as well as drug education, financial education, relationship, sex and health education (RSHE) and the importance of physical activity and diet for a healthy lifestyle, plays a vital role in keeping pupils safe and gives them skills for their future life. We want every child and young person to have an education that prepares them for life's opportunities and challenges.
